Lowboys, for basement use, feature vestibule-enclosed burners and either rear or front flues. Highboys and counterflows (which also have vestibule enclosed burners) for basements/utility rooms...and closets/utility rooms, respectively, feature a top flue discharge. And horizontals, for crawl spaces, are available with either front or rear flues.
